A former elementary school's grounds has become five Arts and Crafts influenced three-story, single-family homes at 3131 Kensington Avenue. An existing special-use permit was amended to subdivide the properties, and then obtained a new SUP. Form, massing, materials, and setbacks are consistent with the Museum District’s design guidelines, while elevated front yards and sloping roofs are contiguous with neighbors in the vicinity. Each home, all greater than 3000 square feet, includes spacious living areas with extended decks, two-car garages, and rooftop patios.
