THE DETAILS

A repeat commercial development-oriented client heroically saved this Fan District ca.1895 3750sf Richardsonian Romanesque townhouse after a prior owner had neglected maintenance for decades. The rear section of the building had suffered immense damage as the roof and multiple lower levels had collapsed. Stabilizing and renovating the brownstone was an intensive process, including rebuilding the entire rear of the building for historic tax credits. The building now features four apartments, a studio, two two-bedroom units, and, on the previously collapsed portion of the building, a one bedroom with a roof deck. A crumbling ruin is now a polished multi-family building.
